Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ray Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keith Kennedy Allin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Allin has chosen GG Allin - Guns, Bitches, Brawls & Bottles as his entrance music. Ray Thomas had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Ray Thomas has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas misses with a kick to the body.
Allin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Thomas swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Thomas rushes Allin and presses him up against the cage.

Allin breaks the clinch.
Thomas shoots in and drives through. Allin sprawls well.

Thomas jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Allin walks away with a smile on his face. Thomas gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Allin shoots in for a double leg but Thomas sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Allin postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Thomas is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Allin, into his guard.

Thomas shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Allin defends it nicely.
Allin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Allin tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Thomas smiles and moves away.
Allin moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Allin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Thomas's waist but Thomas gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Allin off to one side.
Thomas throws a leg kick but Allin sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Thomas closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Allin did well to prevent Thomas getting side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Allin wants to improve his position but Thomas is controlling well.
Thomas is keen to just control but Allin is a slippery customer.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Thomas stands up and beckons Allin to join him on the feet.

Thomas closes this distance looking for a takedown but Allin circles away.

Thomas has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Allin avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Allin manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Allin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Thomas throws a strike but Allin rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Allin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Thomas swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Allin is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Thomas manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Allin manages to get himself to full guard.

Allin throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Thomas escapes and throws Allin's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Thomas tries to score with some ground and pound. Allin controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Allin is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Thomas asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Thomas is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Allin has escaped the position, nice work there.
Allin is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Allin wants to hold on but Thomas pushes him away.
Allin is wriggling around trying to escape.

Thomas takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Thomas unloads with some shots from mount but Allin bucks and avoids them well.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ray Thomas will probably get the nod.
