Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Clay Guida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Floring (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jon Floring will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Floring shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Guida circles away from the clinch attempt

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Guida takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Floring really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Guida. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Guida is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Floring to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Floring shrugs it off.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Guida wants to finish this one by submission but Floring is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Guida.

Floring is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Floring tries to reverse the position but Guida maintains control.
Guida is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Floring can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Guida postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Floring in real trouble here! The ref calls for Floring to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
