The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St Pierre ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
St Pierre takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Funktastic fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. St Pierre sprawls well initially but Funktastic persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

St Pierre fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

St Pierre tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Funktastic paws at him with a jab and circles away.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Funktastic is working to tighten is grip on St Pierre's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. St Pierre has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Funktastic is really squeezing tight and eventually St Pierre passes out! Funktastic breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
