Jacare feints and then cracks LeDouche's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow LeDouche down.
Jacare looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? LeDouche is fending him off so far but Jacare persists. Nope, LeDouche circles away and we're back to standing.

and LeDouche counters with a nice uppercut.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! LeDouche crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Jacare - the referee stops the clock and LeDouche gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Jacare. LeDouche manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

LeDouche tries to break the clinch but Jacare is controlling the position.

Jacare tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
LeDouche can't break the clinch.

Jacare lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of LeDouche backwards.
LeDouche is trying to break free.

LeDouche is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Jacare fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
LeDouche is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
LeDouche lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
LeDouche has had enough of the clinch but Jacare keeps him there for the moment.

Jacare tries to land knees in the clinch but LeDouche avoids the damage to the body.
LeDouche is looking to break free of the clinch but Jacare has double underhooks.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Demaj Jacare will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
