Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between DepaC Pakamara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Average (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aaron Average will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, DepaC Pakamara!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Aaron Average!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Glass and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Average lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Pakamara looks to land a body kick but Average moved away.
Average goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Average looks to land a combination but Pakamara avoids it well.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Average!

Average fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Pakamara sprawls well initially but Average persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Average is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Average is trying to work for a kimura but Pakamara is defending well.
Average throws a strike but Pakamara avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Average wants to stand and escape but instead Pakamara has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pakamara sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Average's guard.

Pakamara is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Average is just riding it out for now. Pakamara eventually gives up the hold.
Pakamara wants to pass to mount but Average is defending the position.
Pakamara not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Pakamara thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Average wants to get back to full guard.
Pakamara wants to free his trapped foot but Average is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Average tries to roll over but Pakamara keeps him under control.
Average gets back to full guard.
Average is trying to control the position from the bottom.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Average is on top in guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Pakamara pushes Average off and gets back to his feet.

Average dives in and grabs Pakamara's left leg, looking for a takedown. Pakamara pushes down on Average's head and hops out.
Average loads up on a big right hand but Pakamara slips the punch.
Average scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Pakamara slips under a jab.
Average lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pakamara circles away quickly and effectively.
No luck for Pakamara with that takedown attempt.
Pakamara lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Pakamara lands with a nice body punch.

Pakamara working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Average is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Average is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Aaron Average will probably get the nod.

Pakamara shoots in looking for a takedown. Average tries to sprawl out of it but Pakamara keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Average manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Average throws out a loose jab but Pakamara uses good head movement to avoid it.

Average clinches up with Pakamara and pushes him back against the cage.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Pakamara wants to break the clinch but can't.

Average escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Some wild striking there from Average.
Average throws a series of punches but Pakamara avoids them all with ease.

Average fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Average fails with a takedown attempt.
Average swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Pakamara counters with a stiff right hand.
Pakamara fails with a takedown attempt.
Average shoots for a double leg takedown but Pakamara sprawls well. He's pushed Average's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Average closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Pakamara did well to prevent Average getting side control.

Average is breathing heavily.
Pakamara has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Average is working away from the top position though.

Pakamara moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Average prevents Pakamara from getting back to his feet.
Pakamara keeping moving, preventing Average from controlling successfully.

Pakamara has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Average off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Average looks to score with a jab to the body but Pakamara is just out of range.
Pakamara fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Average changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pakamara looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Average swings around for an armbar but Pakamara sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Average's guard.

Average is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Pakamara grinds an elbow into Average's temple.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Average tries to buck Pakamara off but Pakamara is having none of it.

Pakamara tries for a kimura but Average is defending well.
Pakamara lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Average down.
DepaC Pakamara overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Average is looking to reverse the position.

Pakamara tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Pakamara has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Pakamara lands a nice forearm strike.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

DepaC Pakamara dominated that second round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!



Pakamara closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Pakamara lands in his opponent's guard.

Average wants to improve his position but Pakamara is controlling well.

Pakamara is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Average doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Pakamara.

Average takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Pakamara jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Average is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Average and Pakamara has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Average dodges the ground and pound from Pakamara.
Average takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Pakamara has knee on belly momentarily but Average bucks him off and regains half guard.
Average is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Pakamara scores with a couple of nice shots.
Pakamara takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Pakamara has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Average takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Pakamara pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Whack. That's a big, big shot from Pakamara! Average is out cold! This one is all over!
