The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pirozhkov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Johnson but Johnson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Johnson connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Johnson misses with an uppercut. Pirozhkov saw that one coming.
Johnson throws an overhand right that lands on Pirozhkov's shoulder, as Pirozhkov tries to avoid the shot.

Pirozhkov shoots in and bounces Johnson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Johnson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Pirozhkov is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Johnson is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Johnson has escaped and now he's on top!

Johnson is really struggling to control Pirozhkov but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Pirozhkov is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Johnson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Pirozhkov has hold of Johnson's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Johnson seems comfortable defending it but Pirozhkov has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Johnson is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Johnson is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Pirozhkov couldn't care less - he's delighted!
