The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Undertaker keeps the fight on the outside.
Meredith lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.


It looks like The Undertaker has been cut.

Meredith shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Undertaker should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Undertaker is staying active underneath Meredith, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Meredith wants to free his trapped foot but Undertaker is holding on for dear life with his legs.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Meredith decides to stand and escape the position.

Undertaker stuffs the takedown.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Undertaker pushes Meredith off looking to stand but Meredith dives back in and keeps control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Meredith manages to get to full guard.
Undertaker won't allow Meredith to get back to his feet.

Undertaker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Meredith. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Meredith looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Undertaker is defending well. Meredith quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Undertaker has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Meredith celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
