Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kolliver Reign (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Montoya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Montoya is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Roy Jones - Can't be touched. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Montoya.
Montoya tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Reign manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Reign misses with a few strikes there.
Reign throws a series of strikes that have Montoya backpedaling.
Reign throws a combination. Montoya tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Reign looks to land a combination but Montoya avoids it well.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Reign shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Montoya as he jumps to the side.

Montoya takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Reign darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Montoya throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Reign was covering up waiting for the punch and Montoya finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Reign is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Montoya not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Reign working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Montoya doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Montoya manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Montoya decides to stand up, so the ref orders Reign to his feet.
Reign ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Montoya moves away.
No joy there for Reign, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Montoya feints and as Reign raises his hands in defense, Montoya changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Montoya decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Reign, up you get!

Reign tries to score a power double leg takedown but Montoya sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Reign somewhat.
