Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ronaldo Gaulamos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hunt is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Realest Sport. Mike Hunt has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Hunt!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaulamos fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Gaulamos buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Gaulamos shoots for a double leg takedown but Hunt sprawls well. He's pushed Gaulamos's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Hunt blocks the body kick.
Gaulamos tries to clinch but Hunt is having none of it.
Hunt keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ronaldo Gaulamos. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Gaulamos pushes Hunt up against the cage in a clinch.
Hunt is trying to break free.
Hunt jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Gaulamos walks away with a smile on his face. Hunt gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Hunt tries to sprawl but Gaulamos drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Gaulamos wants to pass to mount but Hunt is defending the position.
Gaulamos prevents Hunt from improving his position.

Hunt wants to control but Gaulamos is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Gaulamos content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Gaulamos seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hunt does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Hunt wants to get back to his feet but Gaulamos drags him back down.

Hunt pushes Gaulamos away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Gaulamos gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Hunt wants to control but Gaulamos postures up.
An elbow from Gaulamos crashes against the mat.
Gaulamos has knee on belly momentarily but Hunt bucks him off and regains half guard.
Gaulamos wants to stand up but Hunt has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Gaulamos looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hunt with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Hunt on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Gaulamos is pressing down on Hunt's thigh, looking to free his foot. Hunt is holding on for now.
Hunt gets back to full guard.
Gaulamos wants to control from the top but Hunt keeps moving.

Hunt is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Gaulamos defends well.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Gaulamos tries to close the distance and clinch but Hunt swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Hunt closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Gaulamos did well to prevent Hunt getting side control.

Hunt has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Gaulamos's face.

Hunt is landing with some decent strikes but Gaulamos is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Hunt cracks Gaulamos with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Hunt postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Gaulamos in real trouble here! The ref calls for Gaulamos to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
