The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Away gets caught napping as Silva dives in and scores a takedown. Away manages to retain guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Silva stands up and waves to Away to follow him.

Silva closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Away tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Silva content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Silva wants to stand but Away has his arm trapped.

Silva tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Silva has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Away can't do much from the bottom here.
Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Away. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Away is looking to reverse the position.
Away is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
