The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Noguerio, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Noguerio closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Vergara did well to prevent Noguerio getting side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vergara tries to advance to mount but can't.
Noguerio is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Vergara is controlling him well.
Vergara really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Noguerio. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Vergara wants to lay and pray for a moment but Noguerio keeps working.
Noguerio pushes Vergara away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Vergara gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Noguerio quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Vergara has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast!
