The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Taylor throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Turner paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Turner throws a series of strikes that have Taylor backpedaling.

Taylor throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Turner ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

and Taylor counters with a left and a right that stings Turner.
Turner dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Turner's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Turner duly obliges.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Turner is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Taylor.

and Turner counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Taylor moves out of range as Turner strikes.
Taylor throws a nice outside leg kick.
Turner throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Taylor stumbling backwards into the cage! Taylor bounces back off the cage towards Turner, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Turner lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Turner celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
