Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Li Xiaolong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Cottero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Colin Fray and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xiaolong tried to score with a low kick but Cottero checks it.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Cottero lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Xiaolong has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Xiaolong and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That was a close round but I would say that Li Xiaolong will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Cottero in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Xiaolong circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Cottero to the canvas! Cottero doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Xiaolong keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
