Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bud Macintosh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Flavio Marcelo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Flavio Marcelo told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Thiago Cunha and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macintosh lands a jab-cross combination.
Marcelo tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Marcelo misses with a low kick as Macintosh jumps back.
Bud Macintosh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Macintosh blocks a head kick by Marcelo.
Nice body kick there by Marcelo.
Macintosh throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Marcelo throws a chopping leg kick but Macintosh manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Marcelo lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Macintosh comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Marcelo is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Macintosh fails in his attempt to clinch.
A bone on bone clash there as Macintosh blocks the leg kick.
Macintosh will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Marcelo throws the kick towards the body but Macintosh avoids it.
Marcelo buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Macintosh misses with a few strikes there.
Macintosh keeps the fight on the outside.
Macintosh thows a body shot but no joy.
Macintosh dives in and scores a takedown into Marcelo's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Macintosh is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Marcelo has his foot on Macintosh's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Macintosh works his way back into a safe position though.
Marcelo is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Macintosh frees his head nicely. Oh but Marcelo has switched to an armbar! Macintosh is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
