The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magamedov misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Raimi closes the distance and lands a one-two.

It looks like Jaaskelainen Magamedov has been cut.
Magamedov is looking to clinch.
An inside leg kick lands from Raimi.
Magamedov ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Raimi moves away.
Raimi will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Raimi connects with the punch.
Raimi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Magamedov gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Raimi connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Raimi moves into the clinch.

Raimi gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Magamedov is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Magamedov is trying to keep Raimi in close.

Raimi is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Raimi sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Magamedov is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Raimi drops back looking for a leg! Magamedov is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Magamedov manages to kick Raimi off! Raimi jumps back into Magamedov's guard.
