Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kair Drogo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edvandro Gutierrez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gutierrez feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Drogo is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Drogo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gutierrez is trying to escape back to his feet but Drogo uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Drogo creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Gutierrez sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

The referee warns Gutierrez that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

It looks like Edvandro Gutierrez has been cut.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Drogo lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Gutierrez hang on?

Drogo scores with a couple of good head shots there.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Gutierrez can do anything to dispel that myth.

Edvandro Gutierrez's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Edvandro Gutierrez's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

A determined Kair Drogo didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
