Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Peter Aerts!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jamal Tinsley!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tinsley throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Aerts sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Aerts lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Tinsley at a distance.
Tinsley closes the distance and clinches up with Aerts, looking for a takedown. Tinsley pushes Aerts against the cage but Aerts circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Aerts lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Aerts stuffs the takedown.
Aerts misses with a straight right.
Tinsley fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Aerts manages to avoid it.
A slapping body kick lands there for Aerts.
Aerts throws a hook to the side of Tinsley's head but Tinsley sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Aerts leaves Tinsley with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Peter Aerts has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jamal Tinsley.
Tinsley slips a jab and a cross from Aerts.
Tinsley throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Tinsley scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Tinsley sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Aerts is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Aerts tries to escape but Tinsley is in control.

The strikes coming from Tinsley are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Tinsley postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Tinsley tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Aerts dodges the ground and pound from Tinsley.
Tinsley looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Aerts is avoiding damage well.

Tinsley has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Tinsley is looking to take a break and control but Aerts is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Tinsley throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Tinsley tries to advance to mount but can't.

Tinsley misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Tinsley throws an elbow but Aerts slips to the side and avoids it well.
