The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Silva.
Santos fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Santos lands with an overhand left.
It looks like Manuel Silva has been cut.
Manuel Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Santos avoids the body shot from Silva.
Santos lands with an uppercut that bounces Silva off the cage and back into range.
Santos slips a jab and a cross from Silva.
Silva lands a left and a right that send Santos crashing to the mat, dazed. Silva thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Cyborg Santos has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oh Silva is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Santos throws a head punch that misses.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Santos tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Santos lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Santos.
Santos misses with some punches.

Santos swings wildly with an uppercut but Silva uses good head movement to avoid it.
Silva seems to have got his legs back now.
Santos pushes Silva against the cage. Santos is working some dirty boxing. Santos pushes off with a quick right hook! Silva goes down! Silva tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Santos moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
