Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lawrence Cohen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrey Nazarov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cohen comes to the cage accompanied by Season in the Abyss. Lawrence Cohen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Cohen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nazarov swivels though and keeps the full guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Cohen goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Nazarov turns into him and now he's in Cohen's guard.

Cohen can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Nazarov is looking to escape.

Nazarov is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Cohen gets his way!
Andrey Nazarov has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Nazarov is in a bad position with Cohen working for a choke. Nazarov manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment.
