Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fap Soup (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luka Modric (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Modric lands a slapping body shot.
Soup misses with a low kick.
Soup misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A head kick by Soup misses
and Modric counters with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Fap Soup has been cut.
Soup gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Modric.
Soup throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Soup walks into a left hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Soup throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Modric moves into range and connects with a jab.
Modric scores with a jab. Soup acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Soup is rocked!
Soup misses with a low kick.
Oh Soup is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Modric wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Soup seems to have got his legs back now.
Soup fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Modric has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Soup really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Soup pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Modric digs a good body shot into Soup's ribs.
Soup is breathing heavily.
Soup misses with a few strikes there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Modric engages and cracks Soup with a massive lead left hook - Soup tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Modric is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
