And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gotti looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Gotti pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Gotti works over Epps's head and body with a nice combination.


Epps is rocked!
Jimmy Gotti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gotti blocks a head kick by Epps.
Epps is still on wobbly legs! Can Gotti finish him?

Gotti gets caught flat footed, as Epps shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Epps seems to have recovered his senses.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Epps trying to control but Gotti is working from the bottom.

Gotti wants to stand and escape but Epps is having none of it.

Gotti might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Charlie Epps was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Epps drives through and clinches with Gotti against the cage.
Epps can't get the takedown.
Epps tries to pull guard but Gotti won't allow it.

Jimmy Gotti has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charlie Epps.

Gotti gets control of Epps's arms and successfully pulls guard. Gotti will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Gotti is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Epps is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

We're going to have a standup here because Jimmy Gotti wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Epps forces Gotti back against the cage and clinches.
Epps is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Gotti is looking to break free of the clinch but Epps has double underhooks.
Gotti looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Gotti wants to break the clinch but can't.
Gotti tries to pull guard but Epps forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Epps breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Epps dodges the punch combination from Gotti.
Gotti thows a body shot but no joy.

Epps closes the distance and clinches.
Epps lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Epps has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Gotti clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Gotti rolls, trying to escape but Epps keeps control of the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Epps struggling to keep hold of the position.
Gotti trying to control the action but Epps just sinks the hooks in.
Epps controlling well, preventing Gotti from escaping the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gotti showing good submission defense here.
Gotti wants to get back to his feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Epps has good solid back control here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Charlie Epps will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Epps takes the fight into the clinch.

Epps gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Epps is looking to stand up but Gotti won't let him.
Epps stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gotti swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Epps stands up from Gotti's guard - Epps perhaps looking for a knockout.
A punch combination from Gotti misses.

Gotti ducks under a wild hook from Epps.
Left hook, right uppercut from Gotti.
Epps connects with a high kick.

Gotti lands a left and a right that send Epps crashing to the mat, dazed. Gotti thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Epps checks a leg kick nicely.

Epps looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Gotti is trying to maintain the position but Epps is very close to passing his half guard.
Epps wants to stand up but Gotti has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Epps is thwarting Gotti's attempts to control the position.

Gotti slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Epps trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Epps preventing the sweep.
Gotti is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Gotti can't keep his opponent in guard - Epps advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Epps lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Epps stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Gotti is looking to clinch but Epps is avoiding it.

Gotti swats away the attempt to clinch by Epps.
Epps shoots for a double leg takedown but Gotti sprawls well. He's pushed Epps's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Sloppy strikes from Epps. Those never looked like landing.

Gotti throws a head kick that misses.
Epps takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Epps looking to score a takedown here. Gotti is defending well but Epps drives through and ends up in Gotti's guard.
Epps won't allow Gotti to sweep him here.
Gotti is trying to keep Epps in close.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gotti is really struggling to control Epps but he's trying to hold on to the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jimmy Gotti.
Epps throws a right hand that Gotti ducks under and follows up with a left that Gotti also avoids with ease.

and Epps decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Gotti's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Charlie Epps will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Gotti tests Epps's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Jimmy Gotti is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
A chopping leg kick lands by Gotti.
Epps slips a jab and a cross from Gotti.
Gotti throws a nice looking combination but Epps bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Gotti throws a series of punches but Epps moves out of range.
Gotti is trying hard to land a takedown here. Epps sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Gotti misses with a body kick.
Epps keeps the fight on the outside.

Epps fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Gotti, pushing him back against the cage.
Epps is looking to take this one to the mat.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Gotti has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Epps after a bit of a struggle.
Gotti gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Epps.

Epps wants a takedown but no success here.
Jimmy Gotti has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charlie Epps.

Epps manages to pull guard.
Epps is pulling down on Gotti's head. It's preventing any offense from Gotti, at least for the moment.
Epps striking off his back but it's not causing Gotti any problems.
Gotti wants to stand but Epps is controlling his posture from full guard.

Epps wants to sweep but no luck.
Epps is trying to keep Gotti in close.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Gotti throwing strikes but missing.
Charlie Epps has got the better of the ground game so far.
Epps is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Epps controlling the action here.

Epps trying to control from Gotti's half guard. Gotti has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
Gotti keeping moving, preventing Epps from controlling successfully.
Epps stands and throws Gotti's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Gotti is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Epps asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Epps trying to control the action but Gotti is working from the bottom.
Epps might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Gotti kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Gotti manages to get back to half guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Charlie Epps comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Epps winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
