The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paulsen Ambrosius and Radbod Blank.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Witek darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Witek throws a right hand that Blake ducks under and follows up with a left that Blake also avoids with ease.

Witek gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Blake to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Witek is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Witek is letting Blake control him for a moment.
Witek is not content to let Blake control the position.
Blake remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Blake thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Witek is looking to regain half guard here but Blake keeps moving and retains side control.

The referee asks Blake politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Blake prefers to stall for the moment though.

Blake is looking to take a break and control but Witek is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The strikes coming from Blake are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Witek lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Witek connects with a good right hand that stumbles Blake. Blake circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

It looks like Ziggy Blake has been cut.
Witek throws a right and a left that Blake avoids nicely.
Witek thuds a left hand into Blake's body.
Blake tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Witek manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Witek lands a left and a right that send Blake crashing to the mat, dazed. Witek thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Blake is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Witek closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Blake out cold! Blake corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
