Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gully God!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee Jr moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
God cracks Lee Jr with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Lee Jr tries for a takedown but God sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

God has closed the distance and engaged Lee Jr in a clinch.
God wants a takedown.
Lee Jr can't break the clinch.
Lee Jr is pressed up against the cage. God has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Lee Jr down to the mat. Lee Jr avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
God lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Lee Jr at a distance.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
God displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lee Jr.
Lee Jr scores with a crisp jab that stopped God in his tracks.

Lee Jr dodges the punch combination from God.
Lee Jr fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Lee Jr shoots for a double leg takedown but God sprawls well. He's pushed Lee Jr's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Lee Jr manages to get an easy takedown there - catching God on his heels. He'll look to pass God's guard now, I'm sure.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lee Jr accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Lee Jr dives in and grabs God's left leg, looking for a takedown. God pushes down on Lee Jr's head and hops out.
Lee Jr misses the jab.
God walks into a stiff left hand from Lee Jr.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

God sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Lee Jr is looking to take a break and control but God is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
God works his way to full guard. Good work.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Lee Jr postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Chris Lee Jr will probably get the nod.

God stuffs the takedown.
Lee Jr shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts God as he jumps to the side.
Chris Lee Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lee Jr takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
God uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Lee Jr has time to react.

and God counters with a thumping low kick.

God lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Chris Lee Jr overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Lee Jr thows a huge punch but God dodges it nicely.
Lee Jr is stalling here. God is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Lee Jr seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and God has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
God wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lee Jr keeps working.
Lee Jr seems a little lost for a moment, as God dominates the positioning.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

God remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Lee Jr manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
God trying to control the action but Lee Jr is working from the bottom.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Gully God hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
God takes one to the chin there.
Gully God is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Lee Jr shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. God defends it nicely.
Sloppy strikes from God. Those never looked like landing.
God throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Lee Jr connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Chris Lee Jr is winning the standup battle so far.
Lee Jr takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
God displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lee Jr.
Lee Jr moves out of range of the body kick from God.
God feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Lee Jrs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
God buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Lee Jr shoots and misses
and God counters with a three punch combo that has Lee Jr backing up. Lee Jr nods at God to acknowledge the strikes.
God scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lee Jr takes a kick to the side of the head.

God scores with a nice right hand.
Lee Jr is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
God lands with an overhand left.


Lee Jr is rocked!
God steps in with a hook that catches Lee Jr right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! God follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Lee Jr looks absolutely devastated.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gully God!

A very excited looking Gully God made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
