Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Juan Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nathan Drake will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nathan Drake!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Hugh Johnson and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Drake looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Ramirez is staying active underneath Drake, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ramirez had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Drake defends it easily.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ramirez accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Ramirez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Drake swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Ramirez lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

A big strike lands for Ramirez! That's really hurt Drake and he's turned his back - Ramirez keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Ramirez jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
