PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jeff MaGee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugh Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think MaGee might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to I Just Had Sex (feat. Akon). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Hugh Armstrong!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, William Gold and James Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

MaGee manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Armstrong on his heels. He'll look to pass Armstrong's guard now, I'm sure.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

MaGee stands up from guard. Let's bang!
MaGee circles away from the clinch attempt.
Armstrong tries to clinch up but MaGee circles away and keeps his distance.
MaGee avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Armstrong throws a nice looking combination but MaGee bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Armstrong tries to work over MaGee's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Armstrong stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Armstrong lands an elbow inside that MaGee shrugs off.

MaGee decides to pull guard.
MaGee avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Armstrong tries to stand but MaGee is controlling from the bottom.

MaGee is looking to sinch up a triangle. Armstrong throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to MaGee's body to avoid the submission. MaGee has instead reached around Armstrong's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! MaGee arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
