The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wentworth shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Wentworth was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Silva is looking to improve his position but Wentworth isn't that keen on the idea.
Silva wants to hold on but Wentworth pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silva tries to buck Wentworth off but he can't manage it.

Wentworth stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Silva thows a left - swing and a miss!
Wentworth closes this distance looking for a takedown but Silva circles away.
Wentworth fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Wentworth gets a takedown into half guard.

Wentworth is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
