Kafka's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Haters Gonna Hate. The crowd seem to be enjoying Pope's choice of entrance music: LMFAO - Sexy and I Know It . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pope fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Kafka is out of range.
A combination from Kafka does no damage.
Pope throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Kafka's head.

It looks like Franz Kafka has been cut.
Kafka scores with a decent looking hook.
Kafka has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kafka there as he acknowledges the shot.
Pope lands with a thumping leg kick.
Kafka throws a nice inside leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kafka jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Donk. Pope catches Kafka right on the button with a cross.
An inside leg kick lands from Kafka.
Pope thows a body shot but no joy.

Pope takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Pope bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Kafka throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Pope misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kafka looks to score with a jab to the body but Pope is just out of range.
Pope scores with a nice strike.
Pope lands with a kick to the ribs.
Decent striking displayed by Kafka there.
Pope throws a body punch but Kafka moves out of range.

and Pope cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Pope makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Kafka dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Pope ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Pope feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kafkas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

and Kafka counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Both fighters circling a little - Pope finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Kafka lands a nice shot to the body.
Pope misses with a wild body shot.

Pope fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kafka looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Pope scores with a hook to the body. Kafka takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Kafka takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Pope lands with a kick to the ribs.
Pope lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Kafka is rocked!
Pope scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Oh Kafka is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kafka tries to get into range but Pope steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Kafka! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Pope scores the big KO victory!
