Damage kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is South Afrika. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Damage.
Lindback swings for the body but Damage moves out of range.
Damage throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Damage looks to land a combination but Lindback avoids it well.
Damage blocks a head kick by Lindback.
Lindback takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
A nice inside leg kick there by Damage. That's going to slow Lindback down.
Lindback throws a lazy right hand but Damage sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Damage moves out of range of the strikes.

Damage shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Damage was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Damage avoids the attempt from Lindback to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lindback is desperately trying to improve his position but Damage has a good base and remains in mount.
Lindback manages to work a leg through to get back to half guard here. Good work there by Lindback, under a barage of strikes from Damage.
Lindback is trying to control but can't.
Lindback moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Damage is looking to advance position but Lindback has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Lindback has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Damage tries to lock up and control but Lindback gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Damage is in all sorts of trouble here.
Damage is bucking up trying to escape but Lindback cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Damage is looking to improve his position but Lindback isn't that keen on the idea.
Damage takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Damage tries to lock up and control but Lindback gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Lindback cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Lindback prevents Damage from getting the reversal.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lindback postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Damage badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Lindback around the waist but Lindback pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Lindback is the winner by TKO! Lindback jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
