Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Igor Prikhodko and Aleksei Zolotukhin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Karlowski paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Lewis misses with the combination.
Karlowski fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lewis avoids it really well and circles away.
Karlowski lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lewis circles away quickly and effectively.

Lewis closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Karlowski wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Karlowski pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Karlowski avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Lewis throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Karlowski was covering up waiting for the punch and Lewis finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Lewis drops back looking for a leg! Karlowski is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Karlowski manages to kick Lewis off! Lewis jumps back into Karlowski's guard.
Karlowski wants to stand up but Lewis is controlling him.

Karlowski is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Lewis stands up from Karlowski's guard - Lewis perhaps looking for a knockout.

Lewis fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Karlowski, pushing him back against the cage.
Lewis has Karlowski pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Karlowski manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Lewis is trying to pull guard but Karlowski has him pressed against the cage.
Lewis throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Karlowski blocks it with crossed arms.

Karlowski breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lewis wants to clinch up but Karlowski keeps it at a distance.

Karlowski gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Karlowski is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lewis is controlling him.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Karlowski wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Lewis manages to pass to side control.

Lewis winds up and cracks Karlowski with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Lewis is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Karlowski has managed to free his arm - good work.
Karlowski is looking to escape.
Lewis looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Karlowski is trying to stand.
Lewis slows the pace down in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Karlowski manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Lewis closes the distance and clinches.

Lewis drags the fight down to the ground.

Lewis scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Lewis rushes Karlowski and presses him up against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lewis has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Karlowski after a bit of a struggle.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gareth Lewis. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Lewis breaks the clinch.
Karlowski shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lewis pinned against the cage. Lewis gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Karlowski gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lewis slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Lewis is looking to work some ground and pound but Karlowski has wrist control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gareth Lewis dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Lewis dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Karlowski. That did some damage!
Lewis throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Lewis sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Karlowski's guard.

Gareth Lewis overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Karlowski is looking to get back to is feet but Lewis passes into side control.

Lewis stands up and beckons Karlowski to his feet.
Lewis has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Dariusz Karlowski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Karlowski is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Karlowski shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Karlowski was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Lewis is looking to improve his position but Karlowski isn't that keen on the idea.
Karlowski scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Karlowski sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Karlowski really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lewis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
