Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Turk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Baum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baum comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The largest nuclear explosion kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Adam Baum is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Johnny Turk!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Adam Baum!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Igor Prikhodko and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baum fails with the takedown.
Turk walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Baum checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Turk slips a jab and a cross from Baum.
Baum ducks under a wild hook from Turk.
Turk fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Baum manages to avoid it.
Turk misses with a hook
and Baum holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Turk is looking to break free of the clinch but Baum has double underhooks.
Turk escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Baum fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Baum closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Turk can't break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Turk wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Turk pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Baum shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Turk counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Adam Baum has been cut.
Baum moves into the clinch.
Baum jumps guard but Turk turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Johnny Turk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adam Baum.
Baum tries to pull guard but Turk won't allow it.
Baum has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Turk is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Turk's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Turk jabbing away but nothing is landing.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Turk tries to bum rush Baum with a series of wild strikes but Baum uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Baum with a lazy takedown attempt
and Turk counters with a good low kick that Baum was not able to check.
A big right from Turk misses.
Baum falls off balance throwing a combination
and Baum takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Turk looks to land a combination but Baum avoids it well.
Baum fails to land with a series of punches.
Baum shoots for a double leg takedown but Turk sprawls well. He's pushed Baum's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Turk throws a jab but it's blocked by Baum.
Baum shoots in for a takedown but Turk shows good takedown defense.
Turk stuffs the takedown.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Baum shoots and misses
and Turk counters with a nice body kick.
Baum looks gassed!
Baum steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Turk. That one must have hurt.
Oh, that's a big right hand from Turk and Baum goes tumbling to the canvas! Turk follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Turk lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Baum is rocked!
That has opened up Adam Baum's cut even more.
Turk lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Baum quite badly. Baum pulls Turk in close trying to recover. Turk postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Baum on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Baum doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Johnny Turk!
