The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bazinet displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

It looks like Ryan Mote has been cut.
Bazinet darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Mote throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bazinet's waist but Bazinet gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mote off to one side.
Bazinet defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mote.
Mote is breathing heavily.
Bazinet throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mote.
Sloppy strikes from Bazinet. Those never looked like landing.
Mote dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Bazinet swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Mote takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Bazinet throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Bazinet thuds his right hand into Mote's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Mote throws a leg kick but Bazinet moved away.

Bazinet lands a left and a right that sends Mote crashing to the canvas! Bazinet dives into mount looking to finish!

Mote is rocked!
Bazinet looking to control and managing it successfully.
Oh Mote is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mote tries to hold on but Bazinet pushes him away.
Mote seems to have got his legs back now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mote is bucking up trying to escape but Bazinet cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Bazinet fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Ryan Mote's cut is getting worse.
Bazinet pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Bazinet working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Bazinet is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Bazinet works his way to his opponent's back.

Bazinet has got one arm under Mote's chin. This could be trouble... Mote trying to control the other hand but Bazinet gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Mote has tapped out! The fight is over!
