Cerqueira is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by CPM 22 - Dias Atrás. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cerqueira fails in his attempt to clinch.
Cerqueira shoots in but no luck this time.

Symbol postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Symbol trying to control the position from guard on top but Cerqueira is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Symbol connects with a nice short shot to Cerqueira's temple.
Symbol uses his free foot to push down on Cerqueira's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Cerqueira.

Cerqueira wants to improve his position but Symbol is controlling well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Symbol drops an elbow to the side of Cerqueira's head.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Symbol lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Cerqueira is rocked!
Symbol is nestled in close to Cerqueira, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Cerqueira is still in real trouble! Can Symbol finish him?

Symbol looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Cerqueira with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Symbol lands a big elbow - Cerqueira is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Symbol!
