Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Isaki Gomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Bashor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bashor comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Monster by Skillet kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bashor misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Gomi.
Gomi avoids the body shot from Bashor.
Gomi takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Gomi throws a left and a right that both miss
and Bashor counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Gomi misses with a series of wild punches.
Gomi really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Gomi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bashor was well out of range. Poor timing from Gomi.
That kick from Gomi tenderised Bashor's leg. Bashor is trying to keep his angry face on.
Bashor is looking to chop away at Gomi's legs.
Bashor takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

and Bashor counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
A nice leg kick lands there from Gomi.

Some bone on bone action there as Bashor checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Bashor connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Gomi momentarily.

Bashor throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Gomi stumbling backwards into the cage! Gomi bounces back off the cage towards Bashor, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Bashor lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Bashor celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
