Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan Goldsmith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin O Neill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Goldsmith comes to the cage accompanied by Dos Equis. O Neill has chosen Sing for the moment - Eminem as his entrance music. Martin O Neill has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jonathan Goldsmith's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jonathan Goldsmith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 11 - 2, fighting out of New York, Martin O Neill!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Neill dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Goldsmith is looking to land body kicks.
Goldsmith looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
A decent looking cross lands there for O Neill.

O Neill feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
O Neill throwing strikes from guard but Goldsmith blocks nicely.

O Neill is trying to control. Goldsmith wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

O Neill shoots in for a takedown but Goldsmith shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Well O Neill has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
