Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alex Licud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Casey Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Outside - Staind. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Licud misses.
Licud pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Licud misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Johnson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Licud manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Licud shoots in and bounces Johnson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Licud throws a strike but Johnson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Johnson wants to stand but Licud is controlling his posture from full guard.
Licud is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Licud tries to strike from the bottom.

Licud has control of Johnson's left arm, preventing Johnson from doing any damage.

Licud has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Johnson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Licud, up you get!

Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Licud swats him away and circles back towards the center.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Johnson just misses with a elbow thrown towards Licud's brow.
Johnson gets underhooks to prevent Licud's takedown attempt.

It looks like Alex Licud has been cut.
Johnson tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Licud avoids it.
Licud blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Licud breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Johnson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Licud on his heels. He'll look to pass Licud's guard now, I'm sure.

Licud bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Johnson's guard.

Johnson wants to stand up but Licud is controlling him.

Licud postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Licud is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Licud slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Johnson is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Licud throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Johnson works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

Licud slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Licud stands up over Johnson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Licud postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Licud swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Some bone on bone action there as Johnson checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Johnson closes the distance but Licud moves to the side
and Johnson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Licud wants to sweep here but Johnson controlling him for the moment.
Johnson wanted to stand there but Licud had control of the position.
Alex Licud overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Johnson has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Licud is proving hard to escape from.

Licud lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Johnson!
Licud pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Johnson is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Licud fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Johnson takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Whack. That's a big, big shot from Licud! Johnson is out cold! This one is all over!
