The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franpsycho fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Pilgrim is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

It looks like Billy Pilgrim has been cut.
Franpsycho thows a left - swing and a miss!
San Franpsycho seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pilgrim lands a high kick!

This has been an exciting period of action!
Pilgrim takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Franpsycho misses with a hook. Pilgrim ducked under it nicely.
Franpsycho takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Pilgrim lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Pilgrim thuds a left hand into Franpsycho's body.
Pilgrim closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Franpsycho lands an overhand right.
Pilgrim pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Franpsycho, as that shot connected.

and Pilgrim counters with a series of strikes. Franpsycho will be more careful next time no doubt.
Pilgrim uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Franpsycho.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pilgrim throws a solid leg kick but Franpsycho takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Pilgrim.
Franpsycho is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Pilgrim had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Pilgrim lands with a hook. Franpsycho tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Franpsycho throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pilgrim.

Franpsycho throws a hook but Pilgrim avoids it easily.
Franpsycho takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Pilgrim walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Franpsycho drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Pilgrim swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Franpsycho's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

A less than humble Billy Pilgrim misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
