Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dylan Kelly!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Eliza Hachem and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shahada gets a clinch.
Shahada wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Kelly jumps into guard, dragging Shahada to the mat.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Kelly bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Shahada's guard.
Kelly controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kelly lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Shahada looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Kelly passes into side control.
Shahada knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kelly on the ground.
Shahada is looking to reverse the position.
Kelly is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Shahada will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Kelly has hold of Shahada's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Shahada tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Kelly cranks the arm and Shahada screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Shahada, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
