The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hyou misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A low kick from Won misses
and Hyou counters with a one-two to the body.
A head kick misses from Hyou.
Hyou throws a sloppy head kick and Won moves out of range easily.
Won avoids the head kick by Hyou.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hyou tries a head kick but it misses.
Hyou throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Won misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hyou throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Hyou throws a head kick that misses.

Won shoots in and bounces Hyou off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Won is breathing heavily.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Won's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Won stands up over Hyou, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Won postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Hyou had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Won defends it easily.

Hyou working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Won has passed into half guard!
Won is nestled in close to Hyou, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

It looks like Ren Hyou has been cut.
Won wants to pass to mount but Hyou is defending the position.
Won is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Hyou is rocked!

That has opened up Ren Hyou's cut even more.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Won lands a big elbow - Hyou is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Won!
