Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Saxon Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ty Ponowog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harris comes to the cage accompanied by Doom. Ponowog has chosen Panini Pua Kea as his entrance music. Ty Ponowog is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Jeff Smith and Roger Salmon.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ponowog instigates a clinch.
Harris really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Harris is looking to take this one to the mat.
Harris dodges an elbow strike from Ponowog.
Ponowog landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Ponowog gets through Harris's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Harris has Ponowog pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Ponowog manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Harris tries for a takedown but Ponowog manages to get underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Saxon Harris. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ponowog connects with a knee to the head.
Ponowog lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Harris backwards.

Ponowog breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Ponowog closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Harris jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ponowog walks away with a smile on his face. Harris gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Ponowog manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The referee is keeping an eye on Harris - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Harris drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Ponowog lands a shoulder strike.

Ponowog pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Harris avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ponowog looks for the body kick but Harris saw that one coming.
Harris takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Ponowog lands with a good body shot.
Ty Ponowog seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Harris goes for a takedown in the clinch but Ponowog prevents it.
Ponowog is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Harris has Ponowog pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Ponowog manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Harris is breathing heavily.
Ponowog throws a knee to the head but misses.
Harris looking to slow down the pace here.

Ponowog's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Harris misses with a series of wild punches.

Ponowog keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Ponowog is looking to clinch but Harris is avoiding it.

Ponowog gets a clinch.
Ponowog using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Harris has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Harris is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Ponowog scores with a shoulder strike.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ponowog is struggling to control the position.

Ponowog pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ponowog tries to clinch up but Harris circles away and keeps his distance.
A nice combination there by Ponowog.

Harris is rocked!
Harris circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Ponowog. Harris falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Ponowog!
