Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Garrett Hemingway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joao Roberto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberto tries to clinch up but Hemingway circles away and keeps his distance.

Roberto pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Hemingway drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Roberto lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Hemingway!
Hemingway stops Roberto from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Hemingway tries to lock up and control but Roberto gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
