Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Max Henderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chowyu Neehow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Max Henderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chowyu Neehow!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Columbo Gatti and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Neehow bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Neehow wants to lay and pray for a moment but Henderson keeps working.
Neehow lands a nice forearm strike.
Henderson dodges the ground and pound from Neehow.
Henderson is looking to reverse the position.
Neehow wants to lay and pray for a moment but Henderson keeps working.
Henderson is trying to escape the position but Neehow is controlling the position.

Neehow stands up.

Neehow throws a head kick that Henderson semi-blocks.
Henderson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Neehow decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Henderson's guard.

Neehow drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Henderson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Neehow has Henderson in his guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Neehow can do anything to dispel that myth.

Neehow had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Henderson defends it easily.

Henderson shoots in for a double leg but Neehow sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Neehow defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Henderson.

Henderson shoots in looking for a takedown. Neehow tries to sprawl out of it but Henderson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Neehow manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Henderson takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Neehow is defended easily by Henderson.

Henderson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Neehow throws a strike but Henderson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Neehow is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

and Neehow counters with a good, hard body kick but Henderson shrugs it off.
Henderson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Neehow pinned against the cage. Neehow gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Max Henderson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Chowyu Neehow is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Well Neehow has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
