Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joey Riggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Tub O Lard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Riggs comes to the cage accompanied by Eminem - not afraid. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riggs lands with a straight right. Tub O Lard didn't see that one coming.

Riggs bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Tub O Lard! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

It looks like Big Tub O Lard has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Riggs tries to stand but Tub O Lard is controlling from the bottom.
Tub O Lard wants to sweep here but Riggs controlling him for the moment.

Riggs drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Riggs jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Riggs trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Tub O Lard has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Riggs can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Riggs is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Oooh a lovely combination from Riggs sends Tub O Lard down but not out. Riggs dives into side control looking to finish.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Riggs has an Americana. Tub O Lard didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Riggs is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Riggs hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

In his post fight interview, Joey Riggs started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
