Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Andre Tibbs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miguel Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Rob Kelly feat.Slaine - Dropkicked. Miguel Silva is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tibbs misses with a hook. Silva ducked under it nicely.
Silva shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tibbs as he jumps to the side.
Tibbs keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Silva slips a jab from Tibbs.
Silva avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Tibbs looks to land a right hand but Silva moved out of range.
Silva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tibbs's waist but Tibbs gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silva off to one side.
Andre Tibbs has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Miguel Silva.
Tibbs thows a left - swing and a miss!
No joy there for Tibbs, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Tibbs throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Silva tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tibbs swivels and escapes.
Tibbs is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Tibbs's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Tibbs cracks a nice hook into Silva's ribs.
Tibbs stuns Silva with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Silva looks gassed!
Tibbs throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Silva.
Tibbs jabs Silva right on the nose. Silva blinks but takes it well.
Tibbs stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

It looks like Miguel Silva has been cut.
A combination from Tibbs does no damage.
Silva shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tibbs as he avoids it easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Silva avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Tibbs waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Silva.
Tibbs jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Silva tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tibbs swivels and escapes.
Tibbs throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Silva shoots in for a double leg but Tibbs sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Tibbs keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Tibbs avoids the head kick by Silva.
Tibbs lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Silva looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Tibbs is fending him off so far but Silva persists. Nope, Tibbs circles away and we're back to standing.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Silva lands a damaging elbow.

Silva gets a trip takedown into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Silva connects with a nice short shot to Tibbs's temple.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva is keen to just control but Tibbs is a slippery customer.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Silva prevents Tibbs from standing back up.
Silva is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Tibbs!
Tibbs is bucking up trying to escape but Silva cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Silva is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Silva pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Tibbs has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.
Silva has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Tibbs.
Tibbs controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
Tibbs is covering up but some of the strikes from Silva are getting through and doing damage.
Tibbs wants to get back to his feet.

Silva is cranking Tibbs's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Tibbs! He's tightened the choke and Tibbs is tapping out!
