Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Briza DoUrden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Forrest Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Forrest Jackson told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DoUrden tries for a takedown but Jackson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
DoUrden throws a leg kick but Jackson sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Jackson tries to clinch up but DoUrden circles away and keeps his distance.

DoUrden has hold of Jackson's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Jackson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
DoUrden is breathing heavily.
Jackson is desperately trying to improve his position but DoUrden has a good base and remains in mount.
DoUrden throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Jackson because DoUrden loaded up on that one.

DoUrden swings wildly with an uppercut but Jackson uses good head movement to avoid it.

DoUrden drops down looking for an ankle pick but Jackson pulls his leg out and moves away.

DoUrden might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Nice sprawl there from DoUrden as Jackson shoots in.

and Jackson counters with a left and a right that stings DoUrden.
Jackson looks to land a combination but DoUrden avoids it well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jackson closes the distance and clinches up with DoUrden, looking for a takedown. Jackson pushes DoUrden against the cage but DoUrden circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jackson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

DoUrden moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Jackson has worked his arm free - good work by Jackson!

Jackson is trying to stand up here but DoUrden is controlling him well.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
DoUrden seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Jackson has recovered full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jackson has DoUrden pulled in close to control his posture.
DoUrden stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jackson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jackson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
DoUrden gets to his feet. Jackson looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

DoUrden pushes a forearm under Jackson's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Jackson is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
