Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Da Mian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Rojer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ray Rojer!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Ackerman and Colin Fotheringham.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rojer swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Mian shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rojer pinned against the cage. Rojer gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
No luck for Rojer with that takedown attempt.
A head kick misses from Rojer.
Mian throws a hook but Rojer avoids it easily.
Mian misses with the body kick
and Rojer counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Mian scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

It looks like Ray Rojer has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mian slips a jab and a cross from Rojer.
Mian avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Rojer uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mian.
Rojer tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Mian shoots in but no luck this time.
Mian throws a shot to the body.
Ray Rojer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mian tries to bum rush Rojer with a series of wild strikes but Rojer uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Mian fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Da Mian. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Mian gets tackled into the cage by Rojer. Rojer maintains the clinch.
Mian is looking to take this one to the mat.

Mian manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Rojer wants to stand and escape but instead Mian has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Rojer pulls Mian in close to his closed guard and prevents Mian from doing any damage or advancing position.
Rojer wants to sweep here but Mian controlling him for the moment.

Rojer utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Mian postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Rojer is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Mian, into his guard.

Mian throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Mian might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Rojer content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Mian has locked up a guillotine! Mian's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Rojer is holding on here and Mian must be using up a lot of energy. Rojer has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Mian gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
