Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ulysses Grant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Willy Diamonds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diamonds has chosen Use your fist and not your mouth - Marilyn Manson as his entrance music. Willy Diamonds will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Diamonds stalks Grant and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Grant's face. Grant staggers backwards, shaken.
Grant feints a jab promting Diamonds to slip. Grant then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Diamonds slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Grant connects with a good right hand that stumbles Diamonds. Diamonds circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Grant sizes up Diamonds with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
A lazy left from Grant finds it's target.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Diamonds lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Grant circles away quickly and effectively.
Grant tries to bum rush Diamonds with a series of wild strikes but Diamonds uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
