The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McGarry throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Meida tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. McGarry is in Meida's guard.

McGarry lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Meida takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Meida uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McGarry.

and McGarry counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Meida's guard now.

McGarry gets to his feet and stands over Meida, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Meida felt that one! McGarry unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Meida from any more punishment!
