The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smokealot has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Smokealot there as he acknowledges the shot.
Smokealot throws a head kick but Johnson moves out of range.

Smokealot escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Johnson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Smokealot is looking for a triangle here but Johnson uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Johnson is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Smokealot will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Smokealot tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Smokealot fails to land the takedown.
Smokealot uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Johnson.
Sir Smokealot is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Smokealot misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Smokealot shoots in looking for a takedown but Johnson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Smokealot's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Dwayne Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sir Smokealot.
Johnson scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Smokealot doesn't seem bothered though.

and Johnson counters with a series of strikes. Smokealot will be more careful next time no doubt.
Smokealot wants to clinch but Johnson slips to the side
and Johnson counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Smokealot has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!

Dwayne Johnson spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
