Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Killer Elite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dirt McGirk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGirk has chosen This Is Who I Am as his entrance music. Dirt McGirk has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Killer Elite's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elite takes a swing at McGirk's ribcage but misses.
Elite misses with a left hand
and McGirk counters with a straight right hand.
Donk. McGirk catches Elite right on the button with a cross.
Elite takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Elite throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Elite throws a lazy right hand but McGirk sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Elite falls off balance throwing a combination
and McGirk counters with a lovely shot to the body.
McGirk digs a good body shot into Elite's ribs.
McGirk scores with a one two! Elite had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McGirk instigates a clinch.
Elite has had enough of the clinch but McGirk keeps him there for the moment.
Elite really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Elite tries to circle away but McGirk has him pinned against the cage.

Elite lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but McGirk circles away quickly and effectively.
McGirk connects with a good right hand that stumbles Elite. Elite circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Elite changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Elite throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

McGirk is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Elite had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
McGirk connects with a body shot that sends Elite's belly button to the back.

McGirk lands a big right hand that sends Elite crashing to the mat! McGirk stays standing though and waves Elite back to his feet!
Elite glances at the clock... BAM! McGirk nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Elite crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Elite is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
