The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karakantes misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Karakantes looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Listen stuffs the takedown.
Karakantes tries to clinch up but Listen circles away and keeps his distance.
Listen scores with the left hand. Karakantes knows he should have avoided that one.
No luck for Karakantes with that takedown attempt.

Karakantes is trying to force a seperation but Listen has the dominant position.
Karakantes jumps guard but Listen turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Karakantes wants to take the fight to the mat but Listen manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Listen's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Karakantes fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Karakantes looks gassed!
Karakantes keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Listen.
Listen lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Karakantes darts in trying to clinch
and Listen counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Karakantes is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Karakantes shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Listen counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Listen connects with a high kick.
Donk. Listen catches Karakantes right on the button with a cross.
Listen lands a big head kick that sends Karakantes tumbling to the mat! Listen takes a step backwards and waves Karakantes back to his feet - he wants the finish!
That has opened up Vaios Karakantes's cut even more.

Listen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Karakantes moves away.
Nice sprawl there from Listen as Karakantes shoots in.
Listen tests Karakantes's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Listen is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

and Listen makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Listen throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Karakantes is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Jared Listen!
Jared Listen decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
